Where did half of the year go!? Like they always say, time flies when you’re having fun – and what a fun year it has been! We still have so much to look forward to as we continue through 2019 working with our buyers and sellers. Continuing education in 2019
So far this year, we earned our Accredited Buyer’s Representative (ABR®) certification in April. We enjoy taking classes and absorbing as much knowledge as possible to assist our clients. The Accredited Buyer’s Representative (ABR®) designation is designed for real estate buyer’s agents who focus on working directly with buyer-clients. 2019 weather in Prescott, Arizona
We experienced a huge snow storm in Prescott this winter- February brought us over 20″ of snow. We
hope the water table remains high and keeps Arizona out of drought. Spring was on the cool and rainy side and now on summer solstice we are enjoying our typically sunny and windy weather.
I’m sure we will see some warm temps as we move into July and August and September, but they are forecasting a late and good monsoon season so the “weather” will continue.
Real Estate awards from 2018 sales year
We enjoyed being presented with the Diamond Award and the Executive Club Award at the Annual Awards Celebration hosted by Realty Executives Phoenix on May 7, 2019. It looks like 2019 should be another stellar year as well.
Real Estate transactions in 2019
So far in 2019 we have been busy: listing homes, listing vacant land AND selling homes and vacant land. Growth and expansion and building continues at a rapid rate as developers try to keep up with the housing demand for the Prescott quad city area.
According to Zillow, “The median home value in Yavapai County is $307,400. Yavapai County home values have gone up 6.3% over the past year and Zillow predicts they will rise 3.3% within the next year. The median list price per square foot in Yavapai County is $196, which is the same as the Prescott Metro average of $196. The median price of homes currently listed in Yavapai County is $379,900 while the median price of homes that sold is $298,100. The median rent price in Yavapai County is $1,650, which is the same as the Prescott Metro median of $1,650.”
Fun in Prescott Arizona 2019
With such wonderful spring weather, we have taken advantage of using our Polaris Razor. We spent Father’s Day up on top of Mingus Mountain and did some exploring and camping.
We are looking forward to a summer of adventures, gardening, hiking and enjoying life in Prescott, Arizona!
